Acknowledgements and Thanks to all those who made this museum possible.

Dear Virtual Visitor,

Welcome to our museum and thank you for taking the time to learn more about braille and its history in South Africa!

Thank you to the staff who put this all together – Sanette Jordaan (volunteer), Carol Swart (HOD: Data Typing), Michelle Louw (Data Typing Dept.), Yull de Bruin (Braille Printing Dept.), Karin Gouws (HOD: Funding and Communications Dept.), Denise Frost (Receptionist) and all other assistance – it is truly appreciated!

Thank you to all donations received for display in the museum – we tried our best to acknowledge everyone who donated items, on the item description plaques.

Our sincere thanks to Mr Micheal A. Hudson, museum director at the American Printing House for the Blind in Louisville, Kentucky, USA, for his assistance and permission to use information and item descriptions from their website (www.aph.org).

Should you have any criticism, complaints or compliments – please contact me. We love to hear from you.

Kind regards,

Philip Jordaan
